HARVEST

We were intending to start picking on the weekend of 3rd October but with the wonderful weather we've been having and the forecast of rain for that weekend, we decided to pick over 26/27 September. All the white varieties were picked and produced almost 2.5 tonnes. We will be making a medium wine from Reichensteiner, Schonberger and Chardonnay and a dry wine from Bacchus. I'm sure there will be many people looking forward to the Bacchus with memories of our 2005.
We also picked Rondo on 11th October and Pinot Noir/Dornfelder on 17th October
